Aaah! Polycount!
I gave it a quick once-over in 3D and it looks good, although the extraneous polygons you spent in the rounded edges and weapons could have been used to smooth out the body a bit. And yeah, like Crazy-Eyes said, you should probably slap a eurocopter-style tail rotor on there, because as it is, you have nothing to keep the helicopter from going into a flat spin and crashing like they do in the movies. It looks sick over the desert background, though, and would make a fine renderable piece with some polygon redistribution. Polygon polygon polygon. And maybe a bit more shoulder room in the cockpit. Don't mind me, though, I'm just a concerned citizen :-)

You got a point with the unequal poly distribution, but remember, this was more than a year ago. I cared more about the the image that would be ultimately extracted for the 3D warehouse than making a well balanced model. I didn't think of the actual mechanics of the helicopter neither. Thanks for the comment =D

Actually, now that I think about it, ou could solve the spinning thing by adding a contra-rotating prop on top of the one you already have. All you'd need to do is make a copy of the one you have and flip it so it's facing the other way. Problem solved. And it would look pretty sick :-)

ahhhhh, great idea, the rotor is tall enough as it is, so i'll just put it underneath. great thinking :)
